Exclusion (Latin excludere , "to exclude") stands for:

  • a truth function in propositional logic; it is also discussed as the Sheffer function ( Shefferscher Stroke ) or under NAND and corresponds to the contrary contrast in traditional logic
  • in history a bill (English Exclusion Bill ) that wanted to influence the succession to the throne of the English royal family
  • in sociology the exclusion of persons, see exclusion

The opposite term is inclusion .
