Bavaria export award
The Bavarian Export Prize is a business prize for which small companies (maximum 50 employees) based in Bavaria that are successful in foreign markets can apply. The competition is sponsored by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs , the Bavarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Association of the Bavarian Chamber of Crafts. The prize is intended to strengthen the international competitiveness of small and medium-sized Bavarian companies.

Award criteria and pricing
The award is not based on company size or turnover , rather the ideas behind an export success and an "interesting, extraordinary marketing strategy " are decisive. The first placed in each category will receive a custom-made trophy along with a certificate and a short film about the company. The award ceremony and the short film can be used for advertising purposes.
Previous awards and participation
The competition will be at yearly since 2007 cycle performed. In 2011 almost 130 companies took part, in 2012 100 applicants took part.
