Extensification

Extensification means to carry out a procedure or a process in relation to a standard or to a previous point in time with less use of operational production factors. Usual production factors that can be described in economic terms are, for example, working hours , operating resources , capital goods and land .

Extensification in agriculture

In agriculture, extensification primarily means a reduction in production based on state subsidy programs.
