Extracorporeal system

Extracorporeal systems are medical devices that are used in operations to temporarily take over the function of internal organs. The devices are located outside the body (extracorporeal) and are connected to the corresponding organ by hoses. There are e.g. B. extracorporeal artificial hearts , artificial kidneys and artificial lungs .
