Extremoduro is a Spanish hard rock band from Plasencia .
Band history
The band name is an allusion to the Extremadura region from which the band comes. It was founded in the late 1980s and after demo recordings, TV appearances and participation in a music competition, they got a record deal. Her first official album, Rock transgresivo , was released in 1989. In the mid-1990s, her label was sold to Warner Music , and in 1996 her final breakthrough came with the album Agíla . It hit the album charts and was awarded double platinum. Until 1996 the line-up changed frequently, only singer and guitarist Robe Iniesta was and is the constant in the band. With Iñaki Antón and José Ignacio Cantera and from 2001 with Miguel Colino, the formation that shaped the 2000s Extremoduro was found . With the album La ley innata they made it to number one in the Spanish album charts for the first time . The following two studio albums also topped the charts.
