Ezekiel Massat

Ezekiel Massat is a politician from to Papua New Guinea belonging to the Autonomous Region of Bougainville . Massat was named Vice President on January 19, 2009 by the President of the Bougainville Autonomous Province, James Tanis .

Massat is also responsible for the justice department in the Tanis government . He was also Minister of Police in the government of the first President of the Bougainville Autonomous Region, Joseph Kabui . With the appointment of Massat, who is a member of the constituency of Tonsu on the island of Buka , James Tanis responded to demands from central and northern Bougainville for more say for their regions in the autonomous government of Bougainville. Massat replaced the previous Vice President John Tabinaman, who had also held the office of President after the death of Joseph Kabui in June 2008.
