history

In 1906 there was an initial effort on the part of the FGSPF (France) and the FASCA (Italy) to organize a meeting of the Catholic sports associations that had existed until then. It took place in 1908 under the auspices of Pope Pius X in Rome with about 2000 participants from France, Belgium, Ireland, Canada and Italy.
