The Félix Award , or Prix Félix or “Trophée Félix” in the French original, is an award ceremony by ADISQ for musicians from the Canadian province of Québec , a music prize in eleven to twelve categories that is awarded annually.

The very first Félix Award was presented on September 23, 1979 at a gala show event organized by the Association du disque, de l'industrie du spectacle québécois (ADISQ) at the Expo-Théâtre in Montréal . The name of this award Félix refers to the composer Félix Leclerc .

Unlike the Juno Awards , which are based on sales, the Félix Awards are selected by juries within the Québec Music Industry Association (ADISQ).

The award ceremony will be broadcast live on TV by ICI Radio-Canada Télé and streamed online via ICI.Radio-Canada.ca. The TV recording is available for 30 days from the broadcast day in the media library.
