New forms of expression for the fine arts of the City of Munich
The sponsorship award for new forms of expression in the visual arts of the state capital of Munich was awarded from 1986 to 1999 to promote individual projects in the field of new forms of expression in the visual arts .
Only artists who had their place of residence within the Munich S-Bahn area were eligible for award . A personal application was not possible. A commission convened annually by the city council, which consisted of specialist jurors and the prizewinner or prizewinners , had the right to make proposals . At times there were two scholarships.
With the reform decision KA on September 30, 1999, the price was abolished from 1999. Instead, in 2001 there was the project grant for young art and new media .
