Hino ( Japanese 日 野 市 , - shi ) is a city in the Japanese prefecture of Tokyo , about 40 km west of Tokyo .
geography
The Asakawa flows through the city from west to east and flows here into the Tama , in which the northeastern city limits run.
history
The city was founded on November 3, 1963.
