Taito Ebina Development Center

The Taitō KK ( Japanese タ イ ト ー 株式会社 , Taitō kabushiki-gaisha ) is a Japanese video game developer based in Tokyo . Taito was founded in 1953 by Michael Kogan . One of their first arcade games was Elepong in 1973 .

In September 2005 Taito was bought by Square Enix and merged with Square Enix 'subsidiary SQEX Corporation. Since then, games for arcade devices and mobile phones have mainly appeared under the Taito brand.

Musically, many games were provided by the house band Zuntata .
