Special driver train
Fuhrer's special train or mobile Fuhrer's headquarters is the name for a mobile command post of Adolf Hitler as Supreme Commander of the Wehrmacht during the Second World War .
General
Before the first fixed Fuehrer's headquarters Felsennest was used in May 1940 , the special train served as the mobile Fuehrer's headquarters. Hitler and his entourage visited and inspected the various fronts and theaters of war since the beginning of the war , for example with the “America” train (also known as “Brandenburg I” or “Brandenburg II”). The guide-escort battalion was responsible for the safety of the trains and railway lines . For this purpose, the front group Freiherr von Blomberg , front group Spengemann , front group Bertram and the front group Nahring were subordinate to the escort battalion. The names of the front groups go back to their commanding captain.

The special Führer train, for example, which drove from Anhalter Bahnhof in Berlin to Wolfsschanze on June 23, 1941 , consisted of:
