Five Paragraphe from the Waltz Codex is a waltz by Johann Strauss Sohn (op. 105). The work was performed for the first time on February 3, 1852 in the Sofienbad Hall .

Remarks

The waltz Five Paragraphe from the Waltz Codex was composed for the Mardi Gras season of 1852 and premiered on February 3rd at the law students' ball. Strauss then also dedicated his work to these students. This is where the name of the waltz can be derived. The five paragraphs correspond to the five parts of the waltz.

The playing time on the CD listed under individual records is 8 minutes and 46 seconds. Depending on the musical conception of the conductor, this time can change by up to a minute plus or minus.
