FAF Hirschau is a bowling club from Hirschau , whose first team belonged to the Kegel Bundesliga (Classic) between 2009/2010 and 2012/2013 . The first team is currently playing in the Bayernliga-Nord.
timeline
The bowling club "Menkenkes", founded in 1958 and later renamed "Alte Freunde", founded the department in 1960. In 1961 "Fortuna" was founded. On July 1, 1992, the two bowling clubs "Fortuna" and "Alte Freunde" merged to form the current club "Fortuna Alte Freunde Hirschau", or "FAF Hirschau" for short.
In 2009 he was promoted to the highest German league in sport bowling, the Kegel Bundesliga (Classic) . The first team played in the Bundesliga from the 2009/2010 season to the 2012/2013 season. From 2013/2014 to 2015/2016 the 1st team played in the 2nd Kegel Bundesliga North-Central. In the Bayern League since the 2016/2017 season.
