FBW 40VH

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The FBW 40VH is a two-axle bus model for regular services developed by the vehicle manufacturer Franz Brozincevic & Cie Wetzikon (FBW) in the late 1970s. On behalf of Swiss Travel Post , 22 vehicles were built under the name FBW 40VH. They were the only FBW buses in the Alps that could be used as post buses . They each contained an underfloor luggage compartment, so that no trailer had to be carried. The body was manufactured by the Solothurn company Hess.
