HAFC gap

The Gap Hautes-Alpes Football Club or Gap HAFC for short is a French football club in Gap .

The club was created in 1970 through the merger of SCO Gap (founded in 1962) and Club Sports et Loisirs Louis-Jean , initially under the name Gap FC . The club colors are blue and yellow. The players play home games in the Stade de Provence , which currently has a capacity of around 5,000 seats.

The president is Michel Martin. The league team was trained in the 2009/10 season by Franck Priou , under whom the relay victory in the fourth-rate Championnat de France Amateur succeeded; In the third division (2010/11 season) Patrick Bruzzichessi has taken over his duties. (As of August 2010)

League affiliation and achievements

Gap has never had professional status and has therefore never belonged to Division 1 (since 2002: Ligue 1 ). For the 2010/11 season he had qualified for the first time in his club's history for the third division , from which he was forced to relegate a year later for economic reasons.
