The FK Gagra ( Russian ФК Гагра ) is an Abkhazian football club from the city of Gagra . The club, founded in 2006, follows the tradition of Dinamo Gagra , which was dissolved in the Abkhaz civil war and played in lower Soviet leagues until 1991 , but produced some well-known players, including Ruslan Ajindjal . In Georgia there is also a club with FC Gagra Tiflis that sees itself as a successor to this club.
Today's FK Gagra plays in the top division of Abkhazia.
Since its inception, Gagra has won the Abkhazian championship three times, including in 2006, 2010 and 2012.
FK Gagra plays its home games in the Daur-Achwlediani Stadium , which can hold up to 1500 spectators. It is named after Daur Achwlediani .
