Lists on the subject

The FN Model 30-11 is a sniper rifle manufactured by the Belgian Fabrique Nationale Herstal (FN) from 1976 to 1986 .

The weapon is a repeating rifle with a Mauser bolt system and five-round magazine. The lock with three locking lugs is a further developed variant of the Mauser system from 1898. There is a flash hider on the muzzle . The shoulder rest can be adjusted in length by adding or removing molded plastic parts and in height by using the appropriate procedure with wooden parts of different thicknesses. The shaft is made of walnut wood. The FN-MAG bipod is mounted in the UIT rail under the fore-end by means of an adapter piece that can be adjusted lengthways and can be folded back and hooked into the rail in the transport position. An Anschütz rifle scope (4 × 28) is fitted as standard . Alternatively, a night vision device can be attached. Furthermore, a rear sight sight for sporty use was supplied with the weapon , which thanks to the same mounting system could be quickly exchanged for the standard rifle scope.

The 30-11 model has not been produced since 1986. However, the weapon is still used by the security forces and military of Belgium, as well as other states.
