The Lost Treasure of the Knights Templar is a 2006 Danish adventure film directed by Kasper Barfoed .

action

Katrine, 12 years old, is on vacation with her father on the island of Bornholm . Her friend Nis is meanwhile on the trail of the crusaders who inhabited the island in the Middle Ages. Since the knights naturally also built their churches there, Nis suspects evidence of the legendary treasure of the Knights Templar there. Katrine, Nis and their mutual friend Mathias explore one of the churches and discover an underground room. You will witness the murder of the Church Vicar. The children must now be extremely careful.

The clever children find a key and Katrine is given a ring by the vicar of the church, who give clues to the treasure. But there are also others looking for the treasure, e.g. B. the black-robed men of the "Black Brotherhood". The men believe that the children know more and break into Nis' room. Now a race begins. Katrine, Nis, Mathias and Nis' sister Fie find the secret library of the Knights Templar and the Ark of the Covenant . Their Brotherhood opponents emerge, but the children and the secret are saved by the descendants of the Knights Templar. Katrine's father is among them.
