The admission (permit) to the specialist lawyer for labor law is a specialist lawyer designation of the German professional law of lawyers .

The specialist lawyer for labor law is one of the oldest German specialist lawyer titles that are already mentioned in § 43c BRAO .

Legal areas of training

In terms of content, the permission is defined by the areas of law named in Section 10 of the Specialist Lawyers Act (FAO), in relation to which the lawyer holding the title of specialist lawyer must prove special knowledge:

  3. Procedural law

In order to acquire the license to use the title of specialist lawyer for labor law, as with all specialist lawyer titles, proof of particular practical experience is required. Here, § 5 S. 1 lit. c FAO evidence of 100 cases handled by the applicant, at least half of which must be judicial or legal proceedings; In addition, five cases must come from the area of ​​collective labor law, whereby the collective labor law also applies here to individual labor law if the cases deal with legal issues from the field of collective labor law.
