Specialist conference (school)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A participation body at German schools is called a specialist conference .

Specialist conference in the state of Brandenburg

The specialist conference is formed for each individual school subject or for several school subjects together and advises on all matters relating to the subject or the department. As part of the resolutions of other bodies such as the teachers' conference and the school conference , it decides on teaching and learning materials, performance evaluation, advanced training and subject-internal evaluation criteria.

Its members usually include all teachers who teach the relevant subject (alternatively, depending on the federal state, their representatives), and representatives of the pupils and parents as advisory members.
