Specialist salesperson in the food trade (confectionery)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The three-year apprenticeship as a specialist salesperson in the food trade is a recognized occupation in the dual training system.

Field of activity

Specialist salespeople in the food trade with a focus on confectionery work in confectioneries, retail stores, restaurants, catering companies and the hotel industry. They sell confectionery products, desserts and hot drinks, serve and advise customers, present their goods and keep the sales area clean.

In the training regulations of 1985, the profession was still referred to as a specialist salesman in the food trade with a focus on bakery / confectionery; since the reorganization of vocational training in 2006, the two focus areas have been separated.
