concept

At the beginning of each episode, the six experts on the team present videos or photos of different cases to investigate and then select two cases to work on in groups of three. With the help of various experiments, attempts are made to precisely reproduce and repeat the unusual or paranormal events. If the respective team cannot adequately reproduce a treated case, investigations are initiated during the night in order to rule out possible paranormal causes or to record them with the help of the cameras. In addition, so-called EPP sessions are often held in which paranormal events are to be recorded acoustically.

Since the seventh episode of the second season, one video per episode has been shown shortly before commercial breaks, in which the viewer can decide for himself whether the video in question is authentic or fake. This is followed by a summary of how the phenomenon or paranormal event can be recreated, or whether it is a truthful recording.
