Facundo Martínez , full name Facundo Martín Martínez Montagnoli , (born April 2, 1985 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player .

Career

The 1.79 meter tall midfielder Martínez completed a five-minute short assignment in the Torneo Clausura 2005 at the Argentinian club CA River Plate . In the Apertura 2006 and the Clausura 2007 he was a member of the squad of the then Uruguayan second division club Atlético Atenas . It followed in the 2007/08 season a station with the Montevideo Wanderers in the Primera División . In the 2008/09 season he was in the ranks of the Rampla Juniors and scored a first division goal. He then moved to Universidad Católica in Ecuador in 2009 . That year he made 35 appearances in Serie B and scored seven goals. In 2010, five appearances in Serie A followed without a personal goal. In the two following years, however, he played second class again with the club and scored six goals this season in 2011 and ten in 2012. After the club returned to Serie A, they completed 38 first division matches in 2013 and scored four goals. In 2014 he was also on the pitch 38 times (two goals) in the top Ecuadorian league. He was also used in four games (one goal) of the Copa Sudamericana 2014 . In 2015 he made 41 top division appearances (five goals) and two appearances (one goal) in the 2015 Copa Sudamericana . In 2016, he has played 17 times (one goal) in the league so far (as of August 7, 2016).
