Truck mixer concrete pump

A truck mixer concrete pump (FBP) is a combination of a concrete pump and a truck mixer . It is therefore possible to transport the concrete in the mixer drum and then to convey it to the place of introduction with the same machine using a concrete pump and a concrete placing boom attached to the rear of the vehicle.

A truck mixer concrete pump consists of a truck chassis, a truck mixer drum with an associated water tank, a pump system and a concrete placing boom .

The truck mixer drum can have a capacity of up to 7 m³. It consists of high-strength special steel (27MnB5) with wall thicknesses of 3.5 to 6 mm. 14 revolutions per minute are achieved.

As a pump system , a is the rotor pump or a piston pump is used. The advantage of the rotor pump is that it works quietly and quietly, while the advantage of the piston pump is that it is particularly powerful.

The placing boom has a range of 16 m to 32 m. It consists of up to four arms, which are usually connected in a Z-fold (also roll-fold).

Advantages:

  • often cheaper and faster than truck-mounted concrete pumps
  • long range with little space requirement
  • low wear
  • simple operation (only one person required) therefore
  • low personnel costs
  • Time saving
  • particularly suitable for smaller construction sites
  • high mobility
  • no support, therefore very flexible
  • particularly suitable for indoor use (can be moved with the mast extended)
