The Fahrnisgemeinschaft (or Luxembourgish Fahrnis- und Achievementsgemeinschaft ) is a matrimonial property regime .

It is a form of limited community of property , namely as a community of experience and achievement. In addition to the achievements as in the community of acquisitions , the premarital travel is also jointly available to the spouses.

Until it was abolished by the Equal Rights Act in 1958, it was regulated in Sections 1549 ff. BGB .

In France it used to be the statutory property regime (“communauté de meubles et acquêts”) . Before the BGB came into force in 1900, it was the statutory property regime in Baden and the Rhineland due to the validity of the Civil Code . In Luxembourg this remains a possible contractual community of property.
