Fangel is a town on Funen with 487 inhabitants (2019), 3½ km south of Bellinge , 9 km northeast of Nørre Broby and 12 km southwest of Odense in Denmark . The town belongs to the Fangel Sogn in the municipality of Odense and is located in the region of southern Denmark .
history
In 1682 the village of Fangel consisted of 34 farms, 9 houses with land and 4 houses without land. The total acreage was 1,477.6 barrels of land due to 295.77 barley of barley.
Fangel got a station on the Odense-Nørre Broby-Faaborg Railway in 1906 . The station was located east of the settlement on the south side of Lovbjergvej. The Fangel Station was designed by the architect Emanuel Monberg .
