Fansite
A fansite or fan page , colloquially also fan page , refers to a website on which specific information about a public figure or a specific hobby is provided. The aim of the authors of such websites is to share their own interests with like-minded people or to arouse interest in people who have not yet dealt with the relevant topic.
So you can find countless private pages on the web that have been discontinued by fans. Through their work on the design and through the abundance of information, fans want to express their admiration for the star (the football club, the film, and so on).
On a fansite you can find e.g. B. biographies , lyrics (for bands and singers), photos , videos , current information and appointment information.
These pages are often more informative and detailed than the stars' official websites. On fansites you can also find forums or chats where you can exchange ideas with like-minded people. Many fans only know each other from these communities and never or rarely meet in real life .
It is not uncommon for the owner of the rights to the posted content to issue warnings because overzealous fans post copyrighted data on the Internet (e.g. music in the form of MP3 files, lyrics, photos from the official website, and so on).
