Mario Martini

Mario Martini (* 1969 in Bad Kreuznach ) is a German legal scholar and holder of a chair for administrative science , constitutional law, administrative law and European law at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer and Deputy Director of the German Research Institute for Public Administration Speyer .

Life

Mario Martini studied law at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz . Prior to his legal internship in Rhineland-Palatinate from 1998 to 2000, followed by the second state examination , he from 1995 to 1998 as a research associate working at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, where he in 1999 with a thesis on "Integrated regulatory approaches to pollution control law" Ph.D. has been. Since 2010 he has held a chair for administrative science, constitutional law, administrative law and European law at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer. At the German Research Institute for Public Administration Speyer, he heads the “Digitization” program area. This researches all legal questions that the process of digitization of the state, society and administration brings about. He has been a member of the Federal Government's Data Ethics Commission since July 2018 .
