Fantasy Games Unlimited

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fantasy Games Unlimited , often abbreviated as FGU, is a publisher that makes role-playing games . The publishing house flourished between 1970 and 1980.

Scott Bizar founded the publishing house in 1975 and initially came up with two war games. When the role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons, made by TSR , was rapidly gaining popularity, Bizar shifted its attention to role-playing games. FGU had the games developed mainly by amateurs and freelancers.

There was no focus on a special product of the publisher. FGU is therefore known as the producer of over a dozen role-playing games, more than any other role-playing game publisher.
