Fate / Grand Order ( FGO for short ) is a role-playing game for smartphones . The free version of the game had been downloaded over 19 million times through the publisher Aniplex Ink.
history
The game was released on July 30, 2015 for Android and on August 12, 2015 for iOS . The game was later released for Android and iOS in English on June 25, 2017 in the US and Canada, and in Korean on November 21, 2017. The game was later implemented as an anime, film, and manga.
This game is based on different Fate series. Up to Chapter 5 of Part 2 in Japan and Part 1 overseas will continue to be published and updated.
Part one, Observer on Timeless Temple : The plot is to face the threat of the destruction of human history.
One point fifth part: Epic of Remnant (epic of the remnant): The players solve the consequences and rubble of part 1. The events (from part 1) continue in part 2.

The player who the role of masters occupies summon the servants ( servants ), and they fight together to win a Holy Grail. The player has different cards. There are four types of cards: Servant cards, which represent so-called servant figures, Craft Essence cards, which provide support for servants in battle, Experience point cards, which give the servant some experience points, and Order cards, which provide support for attack cards. He can choose up to five of these cards. You can choose up to five servants and one supporting servant per team. Only three servants are active, fighting servants, while the rest are waiting for the rearguard.
All servants have a class. In contrast to anime or manga, not only the class of the servant but also the attack used is decisive for the effectiveness of the attack. When fighting, the player can also choose three attack cards out of five randomly selected attack cards and fight enemies. If the same cards are selected, the effect is increased depending on the card type selected. There are three types of cards: "Buster", "Arts" and "Quick". "Buster" amplifies the forces of attack. "Arts" enhances the efficiency of the NP charge. "Quick" increases the probability of hitting a critical hit in the next round. Each servant has a Noble Phantasm , a special ability or attack. When a servant's NP bar is full, his Noble Phantasm can be used. This is either a strong attack on one or more opponents or a reinforcement for the friendly servants.
Magical uniforms of the player provide advantages in combat. For example, using an ability can reduce the damage taken by a servant in order to save him from being knocked out.
In the end, when the player completes a level, the fight is over, the weapon ends and the story can go on.
Adaptations
The game was later also implemented as an anime, film, manga and so on. In 2019, the story in Babylon was animated from chapter 7. The sixth chapter in the form of a two-part film is to be published in Japan in 2020.
