Fatima prayer

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Fatima prayer is usually referred to as a prayer that is said to have been revealed by the Blessed Virgin Mary during the third apparition in Fátima on July 13, 1917. It is both a penitential prayer and a petition for the dead. Regionally, this prayer is said at the rosary , but it is not part of the rosary prayer, as it was not papally approved.

The text says:

German Latin
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins!
Keep us from the fire of hell!
Bring all souls to heaven,
especially those in greatest need of your mercy.
Amen.
Domine Iesu, dimitte nobis debita nostra,

salva nos ab igne inferni,
perduc in caelum omnes animas,
praesertim eas, quae misericordiae tuae maxime indigent.
Amen.

There are some prayers associated with the apparition of Mary at Fatima, which are also known as Fatima prayers . In particular, the prayer of the Angel of Fatima as well as the prayer to the Most Holy Trinity are often referred to as the Fatima prayer.
