The 2008 European Men's Fistball Championship took place from July 25th to 27th in Stuttgart-Stammheim . In addition to hosts Germany, six other national teams played for the title.
In the preliminary round, a simple round was played in two groups.
The fourth in Group A met the winner of Group B in a qualifying match for the semi-finals.
In the first semifinals, the second and third placed in Group A met.
The second semi-final was played by the winners of the qualifying game and the winners of Group A.
In addition to the final and the third place match, there was a simple round to play out places 5 to 7. The loser of the qualifying game and the second and third place finishers in Group B took part in the placement round.
The preliminary round games, the qualification game and the round for places 5 to 7 were played over three sets, the semi-finals and final games over four sets.
