Fawzi Salloukh (* 1931 in Qammatieh ) was Minister for Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon from July 19, 2005 to 2009 . He is married and has three children.

Salloukh graduated from the Lebanese American University of Beirut with a degree in political science in 1954 . Salloukh is a career diplomat who u. a. served as Ambassador to Sierra Leone (1964 to 1971), Nigeria (1978 to 1985), Algeria (1985 to 1987), Austria (1990 to 1994) and Belgium (1994 to 1995).

Salloukh is Shiite and is considered close to Hezbollah . Before taking up the ministerial position, he was Secretary General of the Islamic University of Lebanon from 1998 to 2005 .
