Fazio degli Uberti

Fazio degli Uberti (* around 1309 in Pisa , † around 1367 in Verona ) was a poet of the Italian Renaissance . In his travel novel Dittamondo , stylistically based on Dante's Divina Commedia , Fazio describes the Roman antiquities of Italy and its glorious history.
