Federación Mexicana de Bádminton
The Federación Mexicana de Bádminton (FeMeBa) is the highest national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Mexico .
history
The first national nationwide federation was founded in the early 1930s and in 1939 became a member of the IBF . In 1942 life in the association came to a standstill, and the IBF was also withdrawn. In Mexico City, the game was quickly revived after the Second World War , but an association was only founded as Associación de Bádminton de Mexico in August 1961. The association joined the IBF in March 1962 again. In 1976 the association became a founding member of the continental umbrella organization Badminton Pan Am , then still operating under the name Pan American Badminton Confederation . As Federación Mexicana de Bádminton, the association was entered in the register on November 5, 1993. The association's headquarters are in the Ciudad Deportiva Magdalena Mixhuca in Mexico City . The association is a member of the National Olympic Committee.
