Federalny Sudja ( Russian Федеральный судья , German  Der Bundesrichter ) is a court show in which legal proceedings in criminal matters were presented, based on Das Strafgericht and with the license from Constantin Entertainment GmbH and Victoria Production GmbH. The program was broadcast on the Perwy channel first in the evening, then from June to August 2011 in the morning.

history

All participants are actually lawyers by profession, although some have also served as judges and prosecutors. This stems from Russian legislation, which states that judges and prosecutors are not allowed to pursue any other professional activity (teaching is an exception). It is judged on criminal cases.

Judgments are made on the basis of the evidence collected and are only known to the judges acting on the broadcast. From May 12, 2011, trials involving jurors were also broadcast. In contrast to the actual Russian courts, where the acquittals are 1%, they appear more often on the show.

The 1,000th program aired on January 12, 2010.

useful information

If a jury participates, the trial proceeds without the law enforcement attorney, lawyer and defendant appearing again.
