The Federata e Basketbollit të Kosovës (FBK) is the Kosovar basketball association that organizes the Kosovar basketball league and provides the Kosovar national basketball team . The head office of the association is in Pristina . The association became a full member of FIBA on March 13, 2015 .
history
On April 26, 2008, the Federation submitted an application for inclusion in FIBA, but this was rejected. On May 28, the Kosovar Association confirmed that it had received a letter from FIBA allowing the Kosovar Basketball Association to:
- All U-19 and younger FBK teams are allowed to play international friendly matches, but not with the colors of the flag or the flag of Kosovo. Appropriate equipment is selected by Fiba.
- FIBA supports the FBK in matters of coaches and referees.
