from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Feibra GmbH. is an Austrian service company founded in 1963 in Vienna by Anton Feistl and Helmut Brauner , which delivers direct mail to households. The name is made up of the first letters of the surnames of the two founders.

The founders, who knew each other from school, financed their studies by organizing advertising events and set up their company as a deliverer of advertising materials. As of 2015, the company says it has 26 locations, more than 200 salaried employees, around 1200 freelance employees and delivers around 1.2 billion items per year. The company's turnover in 2014 was 58.5 million euros. For years Feibra only offered unaddressed prospectus distribution (“to a household”), and for several years (as of 2015) the company has also been delivering addressed mail. It was awarded the Austrian coat of arms in 1981 and has been a postal service provider licensed by the RTR postal regulator since 2011 . In 2002 Österreichische Post AG took a 75% stake in Feibra minus one share, and a few years later it also took over the remaining shares.

In addition to the delivery of direct mail and addressed advertising material, Feibra's scope of services also includes advice and support in the design and production of advertising material as well as geomarketing .
