Feinkost Paranoia is a hip-hop group from Munich that was mainly active during the 1990s. The members are considered pioneers of the German-speaking battlerap . Feinkost Paranoia was one of the first German-speaking rap groups to focus on unadorned content.
history
The band had their first appearances in 1995. A first demo tape was released under the title Planet Feinkost (11 copies - mainly went to labels).
The first record appeared on its own label Knallers Inc. with the title Süsse Maus and was one of the first German rap releases to deal with pornographic topics in a direct and uncensored manner. The plate, pressed in small numbers, is now considered a rarity.
The group's first album, Dorn im Third Eye , was a milestone in the development of German hip hop and made a decisive contribution to the development of an independent style.
The second album Bio ° Feedback received the highest rating of 6 crowns from the editorial staff of Juice magazine in October 1999 , as the second German hip-hop album ever.
The main themes of Feinkost Paranoia lyrics are drugs, sex and debauchery, as well as childhood experiences and lower class problems . The punchlines (“We have phasers and early retirement and our spaceship is safe”) and the fact that the members of this hip-hop group are strongly influenced by other musical subcultures such as metal and techno are special .
Members included Don Sercone / The Serk (MC / DJ), Milanmann / Mylander (MC), Frankstar / Fingerknochen (MC / DJ), Edlmann (MC), Frank Sommerlatte (MC), Sinbad (MC), Weeh78 (MC ), the capital K and the phantom trailer.
