Felix Becker (politician)

Felix Becker (born August 29, 1949 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German politician of the FDP .

education and profession

Felix Becker trained as a gardener from 1965 to 1968 . He then did his military service until 1973. He attended the technical college for agriculture, horticulture and technology. From 1973 to 1977 he completed a state nursing degree, which he qualified as a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Land maintenance degree. He worked in public environmental and planning administration from 1977 to 1991. From 1991 to 1996 he was employed in the medium-sized construction industry in environmental technology. Since 1996 he has been a freelance landscape architect and environmental expert, here as an expert for the certification of waste management companies.

politics

Felix Becker has been a member of the FDP since 1982. He is deputy chairman of the FDP district association Heinsberg and the district association Aachen. He has also been a member of the FDP's North Rhine-Westphalia regional executive committee since April 2004. Further stations in his career: District Planning Council Cologne from 1990 to 1995 and City Councilor von Wegberg from 1990 to 1995. Becker was a member of the Heinsberg District Council from 1999 to 2001. Since 2001 he has been an expert citizen in the environmental committee of the Heinsberg district council. He heads the FDP regional committee for agriculture, forestry and consumer protection.

Felix Becker was a member of the 13th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from 2000 to 2005 , to which he entered via the state list.
