The Felser See is an artificial lake in Fels am Wagram , Lower Austria .
description
The quarry pond is located in a former lowland on the northern edge of the Tullner Basin and is only fed by a small tributary that runs dry just before the lake. After the gravel extraction was finished, it was used for fish farming. With the Seepark Thürnthal project , the neighboring properties around the lake were developed for private residential development in the 2000s. All parts of the shore are privately owned, which means that the lake has no longer been accessible to the public.
