Ferdinand Icha

Ferdinand Icha (born September 22, 1933 in Korneuburg ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and employee of the savings bank. From 1979 to 1993 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Icha first attended elementary school and switched to a business school after attending secondary school. Between 1947 and 1991 he was employed as a savings bank employee and passed the savings bank specialist examination. From 1956 Icha became involved as regional chairman of the Rote Falken , and from 1965 he was also a councilor in Korneuburg. In 1969 he took over the office of deputy mayor, between 1973 and 1990 he held the office of mayor of Korneuburg. Icha was also active in the association of municipal representatives and the association of municipalities and represented the SPÖ Lower Austria between April 19, 1979 and June 7, 1993 in the Lower Austrian state parliament. Between 1991 and 1993 he held the office of SPÖ club chairman.
