Fernando Previtali

Fernando Previtali (born February 16, 1907 in Adria , † August 1, 1985 in Rome ) was an Italian conductor, composer and music writer.

Previtali studied music in Turin . From 1936 he was chief conductor of the RAI Symphony Orchestra in Rome. From 1953 to 1973 he was the conductor of the concerts of the Accademia nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he also taught conducting.

Fernando Previtali also worked as a composer and music writer.
