Correspondence Chess Bulletin

The correspondence chess bulletin was the chess magazine for correspondence chess in the GDR .

The bulletin was published by the correspondence chess commission of the German Chess Association of the GDR . Lothar Mittag was in charge of the editorial team. The content of the bulletin included all the results of the GDR correspondence chess tournaments as well as the results of international distance tournaments with the participation of GDR players. Most of the games in the GDR remote tournaments were published without comment. The Bulletin was first published in 1966, initially as a loose-leaf collection , on a monthly basis. From 1975 six double issues were published annually. In 1979 the bulletin was renamed Correspondence Chess of the GDR . It appeared until 1990.
