The TV tower Bazita ( Hungarian Bazitai tévétorony ) is a building in the western Hungarian county of Zala , it is located about four kilometers southwest of the center of the city of Zalaegerszeg on the western edge of the city forest on the Bazitaspitze (popular excursion destination). The tower is about 100 meters high and was constructed as a reinforced concrete structure . The eye-catching construction also forms a landmark .

The television tower Bazita has a viewing platform at a height of 60 meters from which you can see the eastern foothills of the Alps when the weather is clear . The tower also serves as a test environment for performing physical experiments, and there is a free fall simulator inside . This is due to the unusual construction of the tower: access and ascent to the upper floors is via an external staircase.
