history

The beginnings of the group go back to 1929 and 1947, when Walter and Charlotte Feser, the grandparents of today's partner Uwe Feser, founded a motorcycle workshop in Bernburg.

In 1947 Wilhelm Graf Senior founded a repair workshop in Fürth. At the end of the 1950s, the Feser family relocated to Schwabach near Nuremberg and, together with their son Udo, opened a Volkswagen company in the gold beating town of Schwabach in 1960.

In 2000, the company merged to form today's Feser-Graf Group and expanded to become the market leader in the Nuremberg metropolitan region. In 2003, the new building of the Audi and Volkswagen Center Nuremberg-Marienberg was completed. Two new car dealerships were built on a vacant lot in Nuremberg-Nord in the immediate vicinity of the airport. In 2006, the new building and opening of the Audi Center Nuremberg-Feser and the Lamborghini Showroom Nuremberg in Nopitschstrasse followed. In the same year, Auto Wormser was taken over in Höchstadt. In 2008 the Feser-Graf Group merged with the Rechter car dealership in Lauf. In 2009 the Joachim car dealership in Roth was integrated into the group of companies. This also opened the first new Audi terminal in accordance with the latest manufacturer specifications at the Roth location.

Feser-Biemann GmbH was founded in 2011 after the merger with the Biemann car dealerships in Erlangen and Forchheim.

In 2012 the old-timer museum "Feser-Tradition" was opened in Schwabach. In the Jäger company building from 1906, after a year of renovation, a private exhibition was created that shows more than 70 vehicles from 1921 to 1990 on three floors.

In 2013, the Feser-Graf Group expanded its portfolio and opened the Porsche Service Center Nuremberg-Southwest at the telecommunications tower in Nuremberg. In 2014, the Feser-Graf Group took over the insolvent Audi Center Magdeburg and since then has had its second location in Saxony-Anhalt alongside Bernburg. The number of companies belonging to the group has now risen to 37. In 2016 Feser-Biemann was expanded to include a location in Herzogenaurach.

The Kießling painting center opened in Fürth in 2017. With this, the company built one of the most modern and largest painting centers in Germany. In the same year, a new Audi terminal, a Škoda and a Seat dealership were built with the establishment of the new Feser-Breitschwert location in Burgoberbach near Ansbach.

Feser Scharf was founded in Hallstadt near Bamberg in 2018 and the two British premium brands Jaguar and Land Rover were added to the product portfolio. In the same year, Feser Magdeburg built a new Seat and Škoda dealership in Saxony-Anhalt, thereby expanding its reach in the Magdeburg region even further. The new Lamborghini showroom was also completed at the Nuremberg location on Nopitschstrasse. As a result, the building was expanded by three times its area and the sales area was enlarged and modernized.

The opening of a new VW commercial vehicle service location in Kitzingen followed in 2019. In the same year, the groundbreaking ceremony for the start of construction of the new administration building for the Feser-Graf Group at the Nuremberg-South location took place.
