Location

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In criminology, the place of discovery is the place where it is established that a crime has been committed. The place of discovery can therefore differ from the scene of the crime . This circumstance is often found in the case of offenses related to seafaring, aviation or other transport operations; For example, theft of a load during a break in driving, which is only noticed at the destination of the truck.

Also in connection with illegal border crossing , the place of detection, the place of arrest and control, is often not the same as the scene of the crime, the immediate point of entry.
