Bretteville-le-Rabet flint mines
The flint mine of Bretteville-le-Rabet (also called La Brèche au Diable ( German "the devil's holes" ) is a Neolithic mine for the extraction of chalk flint in northern France.

Bretteville-le-Rabet is located between Caen and Falaise , near the N158 (road) in the Calvados department in Normandy in France .
description
The mine consists of bell-shaped shafts sunk into the ground, from which galleries lead off, in which the flint was extracted. The plant dates to 3710 ± 190 bc (Ly-3680)
