The Fidelia Isthmus is an isthmus that connects the Laurens Peninsula with the rest of the landmass of Heard Island in the Australian outskirts of Heard and McDonald Islands in the southern Indian Ocean . Projecting on him Mount Aubert de la Rue on.

It is named after Fidelia Heard, wife of John Heard , who discovered Heard on November 25, 1853 as captain of the merchant ship Oriental . Fidelia Heard made the first known drawings of the island.
